King of Fighters is a pretty execution heavy game. At least in the arcades and console. The input leeway isn't as friendly as some other fighting games.

Default Me likey!

I dig the fact that it has endings. Sure, they're nonsensical and I can't imagine watching them again, but I always resented that SFIV and SFIV: Volt left them out. Kudos to you, SNK! I may like the characters and the game itself a little less than I do Street Fighter or Soul Calibur but I applaud the effort and that, in and of itself, is worth my hard-earned cash. Thanks!

It's because everyone has "Genei-Jin".

Same feelings, it's a great work considering what SNK did on GBA, especially their first one on that platform...

Same feeling. This one is worthwhile. I'm now working on all the endings. Got 4 already.

I would love to jump completely on the bandwagon liking this, but a few issues keep me from doing so (for now). Please keep in mind I own almost every iteration of KOF and also the full collection for PS2, 360, MAME on desktop, Acer A510 and Razr. I missed the iTunes release

1. No retina graphics so the game at least looks less jagged when zoomed for iPad.

2. No option to adjust controls for iPad (they are two big and in the way for the big screen- plenty of room to move adjust them).

3. Mai is always hunched over. Do not get me wrong, the Dead or Alive series is a fave too, but her position gives meaning to the word "hangers". Why is she not in her normal stance? This seems exaggerated to a fault. Jigglies are cool, but why all hunched over all the time?

I already have the 2011 version, so not too sure will get this one until a better consideration of the iPad. I have an iPod too, but not enough space for this game. The home for larger games is my iPad "3" 64gb.

I stand corrected on the stance of Mia, since she is in the same lower stance in XIII. I do not have that one yet (waiting to find at local Gamestop used).

I think I will stay with 2011 version, since no retina graphics to at least reduce jaggies for iPad. I have enough jaggies with 2011. Maybe an iPad version in the future or a universal?

Good games TenOnez! I was cracking up at that one match where I was about to activate my Super with K' and you hit me with a jab and knocked me out! xD

Your Joe is really good!

Ninja edit: By the way, I was playing on 3G and the game was pretty smooth for the most part! This netcode is fantastic!

This new KOF is awesome. I already fell in love with the first one, now this 2012 version is even better. More characters and online mode FTW. But damn them for making classic Iori an IAP, lol.
