I don't know if it's been mentioned but it would be handy to have a filter for search results. I was doing a quick search for "boxing" to try and remember a recent game review I had read and there were just too many results to be useful without more information. But a filter for rating or date of review would be great for times when we have a hard time being more specific.

Love the app, but another thing I noticed is that, when using the app on my iPad (my device of choice when lounging on my couch at night), the News articles don't conform to the viewing window (e.g., horizontal scrolling is required to view the entire text). This happens at both 1x and 2x.

This is probably a low priority (as it presumably won't be an issue once the app is universal), but I thought I'd mention it.

Also, landscape view please!!

I would also like to see "Open Link in Safari" added to "Open" and "Copy" that is currently available when clicking on a link in a news story.

First of all, I wanted to say that I absolutely love this app. It converted me from a long time lurker to member. I was happy to give it 5 starts in the app store.

My suggestion would be to add more granularity to the push alerts (like appshopper does). There are some games where you've convinced me that I want them but they are too expensive for my tastes. I want to be alerted the second that their prices drop, but I don't want to be alerted if the app is updated (or your write another story about that app). I will see those updates the next time I look at your site and don't want my phone giving me an audible alert for something that's not important. This is keeping me from using your wish list exclusively instead of juggling two wishlists (appshopper and toucharcade).

It would also be nice to be able to NOT be alerted of price increases of wish list items. I can't think of a scenario where that would be something that I would want to know about.

Another suggestion regards new stories. It's great that you can set notifications so that you are not alerted when new stories are posted. However, shouldn't that also extend to badges? I read the stories each day so I don't need to be shown that they are there. It's frustrating that when I use the app to check the forums a lot of times I'll end up with a badge icon for my folder that the TouchArcade app is in.

Not trying to sound negative. I love the app and use it multiple times a day.

TA wizzies, is there any hope of landscape mode, editing of forum posts and optional push notifications on quotes (and optionally on all replies)? Squeeze those features into the app, and I believe it can not only completely replace the web site, but also provide unique functionality that would really facilitate TA forum communication.
