So is it a rip off clone or just an inspired clone of the original? I need to know, should I oil my pitchfork or start giving out hearty backslaps?

What's the difference between this and "the bluecoats"? One dev ain't gonna be impressed. And I don't know which. I guess the bluecoats is "more originally since its at least a year old or so. Practically the same art. Strange.

Bluecoats is pretty much the official remake for iOS from Microids; the iPad-only version of this game actually came out last year, pretty much right after Microids released their own.
Even without delving into the legitimacy of this particular app (produced by a developer who has apparently never released any other games), just judging by the artwork and general presentation this "clone" comes across as a cheap Flash knockoff. |
