Game Impressions

Except for the hollidays, I've never seen the forums so bereft of activity.
Even a little gem like this puzzle game seems to be completely overlooked, except by Sanuku, who is always to be counted on to make a great video presentation of any game with an ounce of quality. (And thank you for that, Sanuku).

I haven't played the game long enough to make a final judgement on the game, but so far it tickles both my funny bone and expectations of the genre.

In a nutshell, the game features some cute bird soldiers that you have to guide from point A t point B.
On the way there's a number of medals and coins you can pick up to get the highest rating on the particular course, and interesting obstacles you have to avoid, if you want your chirping, flurry friends not to end up Kebab.

Besides affecting your rating on the courses, coins are also used on an arcade mode that I haven't had time to try yet.

To avoid the obstacles, you have a finite number of items available for each course.
I've only reached mission 7, and so far there's only been springboards and walls to aid me, but I'm sure lots more will be available further in the game.

So far it's been very easy for me to get the perfect rating, but I'm still very early in the game, so I'm hoping and expecting the difficulty rises later on.

The cutscenes are very well made, good animations and they're very funny.

In-game graphics, while not being spectacular, are good and serviceable for this kind of game.

All in all, I'm definitely not regretting this purchase.
