Zombie Swipeout (new game by Zombiesmash Dev.)

Quote:
It’s always awesome when two big games join forces to make one really good game. Especially if it’s Fruit Ninja and ZombieSmash - two well-received iOS games that have made their mark on the App Store. They have combined to make Zynga’s sequel called Zombie Swipeout.

Rather than slashing fruit in half, you have to dice the undead as they’re thrown into the air without hitting Joey (the main character). As the game progresses you can unlock new features such as grenades, liquid nitrogen and a slow-mo effect. There are also weapons to unlock ranging from knight swords to baseball bats that will help you to re-kill the zombies more quickly.
Similar to Fruit Ninja, you can battle against your friends online in ‘weekly’ tournaments. This is one of the key social features of the game, among posting your scores to social networks according to Matthias Hoechsmann, Director of Zynga Mobile Germany.

Oh dear gawd. Why does Zynga have to ruin every game they touch? That looks absolutely terrible. Shame on them for calling it a 'sequel'.

@crex: Did you try it? It has all the ZS awesomeness + even higher polish. Plus it's free. Can't argue with that

This looks really stupid to be honest. Might as well just play Fruit Ninja as it has better features. If you're going to compete with a better game, please attempt to add more features to it.

On the other hand, I'm an EXTREME fan of ZombieSmash and wish you'd make a sequel!

Anyone actually surprised that Zynga would do something like this?

This is a rhetorical question, right?

I'm not sure about this one. I mean, it's Zynga. But it's a "sequel" to ZombieSmash, so it can't be that bad. But again...it's Zynga. And to be honest, I've seen enough Fruit Ninja ripoffs.
