Yes, the 3 bolt time is tough for such an early race. so we have made it a little easier in the forthcoming update, sorry -DeaDLocK-.

The update will also contain a fix for the game's handling of iCloud. This should fix the occasionally reported missing bolts problem and will also sync from iCloud more frequently so games on different devices stay more in sync with one another.

The rest of the update is just a few small fixes and trying to help people work out that you don't need to touch the towers to attach the hook.

The update has been uploaded and is waiting for review, so hopefully we can release it some time next week.

Yay finally 100%'d this, glad they don't count attempts, must've been close to 1000 on some.

Things id like added

Slightly faster reloading, maybe double tapping it to make it even quicker
More straight up time trial stuff
ghosts of friends that have higher scores or best players in the world
Autolog style what scores friends have beaten
Maybe some more unique environments

If they crack asynchronous competitive multiplayer in that way combined with their already beautiful controls they've really nailed something massive

Ahhh just read they're making it easier, that's not cool when it's doable despite there being not vid guides or anything

At least add an achievement for getting the previous scores

Don't worry, we only tweaked the time for a single early time trial. We're not going to take anything else away from those who've worked hard to beat the game! Congrats btw

Sliding by Race 3, which is still way easier than the later levels but meant to be easier than it was! I still only have 2 bolts on Melting Away Race 2, must do better!
