Seems like the trailer music is from the Inception soundtrack. The game does look pretty great though. It actually seems like it would be a pretty difficult game based on the concept of constantly slinging yourself while staying on the track.

Currently Playing: Pocket RPG, Tentacle Wars, Oh My Heroes, Minigore 2, Mini Motor Racing, Eufloria, Swordigo

If you want to hear the music from the game you can check out my trailer (was already posted in the thread in the upcomming games section):

Interesting gameplay, I guess no one can complain about controls or handling. It seems that it is all about timing the 'rope'.

Seeing the gameplay of those three games put me off buying from CM again

Luckily, I find just about every other game they've ever released (though I was none too fond of Paper Monsters and Ravensword 1) to be excellent, and I've come to realize that Crescent Moon span the whole spectrum of games, from casual to very deep, and that this is the reason for my dislike for some of their titles (simply not for me, but still spot on for the right audience). Topia currently holds a very high spot on my most wanted list, and Ravensword 2 and Aralon 2 are not far behind.

So perhaps Slingshot Racing will belong to the group of CM games I should veer away from. But I am still tempted...

the closest thing to this, in the CM lineup, I'd say is Gears.
Because its steampunk and more casual.

1 button gameplay based on rope swinging and timing. I'm there.

Looking forward for this... i like racing games with clever mechanics (Draw Race etc.)...
P.S: I think the icon of the game cannot capture the style and the art direction of the game. I think a detail from the first screenshot you are using on the app store is more accurate

Exactly what I was thinking. Not to mention, the same-device multiplayer sounds amazing.
