One of the reasons why i kinda didnt like playing this too much is the leaderboards. You can reach 2M if you have a lot of Hoverboards. activate one when one wears out. Made the leaderboards broken by IAP.

I hope they put a limit to the number of hoverboards you can use in one game.

You know, you raise an interesting question for me. I've always considered purchases made with in-game cash fair game as far as scores go, but if I've got to spam hoverboards to reach high scores, I'm honestly not even interested...

My 300,000+ might be comparatively pathetic, but it's hoverboard-free...

How do I unlock these other characters in the game? From what I can tell you have to get these character tokens by having friends play it but is there other ways besides that and IAP?

You need Mystery Boxes. You can find them during gameplay or purchase them in the shop with coins you've earned. They cost 500 each. It's random loot contained in them. Mystery boxes can give you extra coins, character tokens, headstarts and hoverboards.

Wow, so that's what's happening! I had no idea you could use more than one hoverboard per game. No wonder my friend would surpass my score threefold everytime I bragged about my high score! I knew he couldn't be THAT good. xD

Yeah Hoverboard abuse seem to have killed the game for me. There is a cooldown in between Hoverboard uses, but it's like between 5 or 10 seconds then you can hoverboard again.

Ah well.

I don't see how limiting the use of hoverboards per game will fix anything though. The damage is done and noone will beat whoever has a gazillion bajillion million and currently holding first place. Unless they wanna hoverboard their way into 1st place, where he alone will be proud of it, and the rest of the world will have him labeled as a big ol' cheat. It's really a matter of wanting to play fair against friends now. Sadly, worldwide leaderboards will always be filled with cheaters and hackers no matter what game it is.

I think letting the devs work on awesome new updates with new tracks, outfits, characters and bug fixes rather than trying to have them wrangle the cheat beast on the leaderboards is the best decision. There's no way to win that battle.

On game center, why there are two players who score exactly 30,000,000. Is this possible for some kind of score limit or it is simply a cheat?
