Hmm. I had noticed something like that after the update but I thought it was just my impression or just bad luck. But I did notice that the 250 coin sacks appeared much more often now than before the update.
I also noticed that mystery boxes appear much more often than before. At first I would run into one every 15 runs or so. Now I run into them every 3-5 runs, sometimes in a row. Guess that's to balance it out? I remember DBC saying he NEVER ran into mystery boxes, maybe he gets more coins per purchased mystery box? Like I previously said, it might just be my impression. If anything was tweaked with the mystery boxes, only Kiloo could confirm. I'm not too bothered by it though. |

New update removes curves.

This game is ridiculously addicting and fun but it has run its course. I have unlocked all the characters, reached all the achievements, maxed out the boosts, and unlocked all the trophies.
This game needs the following: -new level design, as you progress further the background changes -new characters only if they add different characteristics -new boosts/upgrades -new missions -fix the mystery boxes (every time i get 100 coins, even after restarting my iPhone its becoming very annoying) The removal of the curves does make the gameplay slightly different (sucks bc I just was getting used to the curves and reached a game with 5200 coins and a score of a 1 million + yesterday) but I think the game is more fair in terms of seeing whats in front of you and reacting when the track is not curved I updated and I am happy. |

Subway Surfers, among other great games is up for the Unity Awards 2012.

There's still track curving but it's minimal compared to the last update.
And I've never noticed the left curving until now. So yes, it still never seems to go right. |
