Check your "DATA" tab at the right lower corner. Is every country infected?

Usually you will received during the game a notification about there are no more healthy humans left in the world. Did you receive this? If not, it may be a sign that some where, in some country, there are some healthy people left while the infected has all died before infecting the healthy humans.

Try this simple guide (will take some time):
Improve trasmission to level 1 for almost all,
Wait and collect DNA points
Improve a few abilities if you like
Wait till you got the message "there are no healthy humans left)
You should save up at least 30-40 points or more,
Devolve all transmission (get back 2 pts each)
Evolve the symptoms you like which will kill quickly, e.g. the right lower one, to max,
Enjoy! Cure will not be possible before they die. Use your resistance (lower cure) only when cure is reaching quite a high percentage say 70% etc.

also, could the individual symptoms effect news stories from infected countries? I deliberately got 100% global infection, then evolved/de-evolved symptoms so the infection just caused mass insanity...what kind of news stories could that produce + cause countries to behave? I guess similar to the "Walking Dead" effect when 2 symptoms cause a larger effect on the gameplay and "storytelling" narrative. I really liked these sorts of events and would like to see more stuff like it.
I second that, there is a sense of satisfaction to see your symptoms causing an effect on the population! Projectile Vomit!

Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently - been hard at work on update 1.2 but I am pleased to say that it has now been submitted to Apple and should be available soon. https://twitter.com/NdemicCreations/...52613990952961

Highlights are new events (global warming, terrorism etc) massive performance increases, iCloud sync and more.

I've gone through all the suggestions etc in the thread and some of them made update 1.2 and others have been added onto the list for future updates instead.

Please keep your thoughts coming!

Made it to the Fungus stage, and have a couple of thoughts...

I hate progression unlocks in games like this. I've played/restarted well over a dozen Fungus games now and the frustration is mounting. Being able to try something different and come back to this later would be most welcome.

The world map needs to be lowered, or the news ticker/options button/calendar moved to the bottom of the screen. Sure you can play through the ticker if necessary, but why cover up the playing area at the top of the screen while leaving a useless strip of ocean and Antarctica open at the bottom?

Otherwise an interesting and entertaining game. Hard to say it's "fun" when I'm wiping out humanity, but it's worth the price of admission for sure.

Default Random Questions

Is there any reason not to buy this game? I wanna get it but my gut keeps telling me no. I get this weird feeling later in the future I'll regret buying the game, not cuz I don't like it but because of the game's plot.

My other question, is it compatible with iOS 5.1.1, iPod Touch 4, Jailbroken?

I'm running it on an iPhone 4, jailbroken iOS 5.1.1. I've had it shut down once due to low memory issues, so that may be an issue, but besides that, I don't see any reason for it not to work in an iTouch 4.

I think you should get the game. There really isn't much of a plot. It's pretty game-y and impersonal, although it does get a *little* graphic with some of the symptom descriptions. But you're basically just watching a map turn red, it doesn't feel particularly wrong until I start trying to explain the game to my siblings.

There really isn't a plot at all, besides you being a particularly malevolent, sentient microbe.

Anyone else have an issue with it locking up when attempting to change the disease name?
