That actually makes it even more odd. I'm sure their Coca-Cola logo appears somewhere in the loading screens so if anything, it's also an advertisement for Coke. Doritos had game competitions for XBLA games and they were FREE.

Still interested in hearing some impressions. I'm not against paying $3.99 for a game, but there's soooooo many runners that it's really got to stand out in the crowd to justify the price.

I would much rather buy a game for $3.99 or $4.99 then pay $1 and have all the content locked behind IAP for another $20-100. Its honestly the thought processes of gamers thinking a $5 is too much that the world is going to freemiums.

I feel the same and would much rather pay for a game than it be freemium. But you've also got to look at the runner genre. It's over populated and there's very, very few runners that are over $3. So it really does have to be a great game if it's going to succeed at that price point.

RPGs and story-based games like Gene Effect are games I'd MUCH rather pay for upfront. I hate freemium/IAP games. I've paid well over $5 for many games over my iOS gaming history.

Just wanted to set the record straight.
