Wow, this looks interesting! Definitely going to wait for some impressions first though.

Not a huge football fan, but I have to admit that this looks rather interesting.

If anyone has tried it yet, is the online multiplayer asynchronous where you can start the game, play your turn, exit and pick it up later when your opponent has made their turn?

I'm gonna point this out, since I messed up a bit with the thread.

As far as I can tell, the paid version is the async multiplayer part of the main single-player game, which is FREE, but only includes offline multiplayer.

If anyone would be kind enough to try it out and explain it further, I would be more than happy to edit this thread accordingly.

Well, it looks like a great idea. Need to see how it's executed though.

Games that will never leave my iPad : Great Big Wargame, Battle Academy, Battle of the Bulge, Ravenmark and Hunters 2.

I beta tested this *ages* ago. It was pretty engaging, although I cannot say much about how it is today since, well, it seems to have changed lots.

Interesting. Bitongo has had a game called Soccer Tactics for several years now. Soccer Tactics is one of the few games that has remained on my device since release. I really love it. And, it has asynchronous and online real-time multiplayer.

This looks like a dressed up version of Soccer Tactics. I will be all over the paid version as soon as it's released. And, if it's similar to Soccer Tactics, then I imagine it will be on my device a long, long time.
