What's up TA! Our new universal app -- Affliction -- is live in some countries, and will be rolling out to the rest of the world tonight. It's a terrifyingly immersive, wave-based, gyroscope controlled zombie shooter with multiplayer co-op. It's also got joystick controls for non-gyro devices. AppAdvice and Pocket Gamer like it!

We saw a tremendous response in the TA pre-release thread. Thanks to everyone who got involved!

Edit: We're getting a ton of requests for promo codes. We wish we could give one to each and every one of you, but we're almost out of them because we've been doing just that . So we'll send out a final promo code to one lucky poster in the next couple days.

Edit2: The first update is now live. In response to your feedback, weapons are now unlockable and we've added the option to enable joystick control on gyro devices. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread!

We have exactly 10 left, but they're our "zero hour" codes that we're saving for giveaways or emergency requests . When we submit our first update we'll send you one from our new batch...how's that?

Some of the guns are IAP only, but we're giving all of the early downloaders an extra gun for free. And subsequent updates will include more free, unlockable guns. Additionally, there are separate leaderboards for each weapon so there is no competitive advantage for upgrading.

Your call! For what it's worth, we have separate leaderboards from the different guns, so there's no overall competitive advantage to upgrading. It's a level playing field.
