So since everyone gets to keep their beta stuff (characters, items,gold) iOS players will be around 2-3 months behind other players from Mac pc and android.

For an mmo this is exactly drawing me to the game :/

The players in the beta didn't want to lose their stuff. So Veraxon had a forum poll vote, and obviously keeping their stuff was the top choice.
