Question: What gets passed on when you reset the game and start over?

Is there a priest/cleric class? I am replaying the game the second time, and the same adventures with the same classes are coming. Haven't seen anything different in adventures, items or monsters on the second playthru...

If you unlocked/mastered a class the first time it stays unlocked the second time, and the levels of your buildings carry over too. I'm not sure if anything else carries over, it seemed to me that the adventurers levelled up quicker the second time but I'm not sure they really do.

Downloaded this game last night, and I think it is my first Kairosoft game. Absolutely no clue what I am doing, but I am enjoying it so far. My adventurers keep getting killed and I am losing money like crazy, so it is probably time to research some starting tips and try again from scratch.

The balance is definitely on the harder side. Not as much as Hot Springs or Edo, but it's in the same vein as them.

Astro might be a better one to begin with, since money is much more abundant.

Mega Mall is probably the most friendly game to date. They pretty much throw money at you, and are more lenient with placement and less focus on boosts.

Otherwise, just consider this a practice run. It's going to take a second play before the mechanics are fully understood.

One annoying thing about Dungeon Village is you're supposed to avoid placing one of each business early on. There's a steep requirement for passing three stars, which means having fewer upgraded shops than many lower quality ones. Barring that, using the exploit to block the town exits and force the adventurers to shop.

Expect a lot of killing throughout the game. The monsters are likely to evolve faster than you can keep up. It's a pretty annoying oversight on the developers part--I think they balanced it for themselves knowing everything about the mechanics.

Thanks very much for the tips, dib; I appreciate it!

Looks like there's a first for everything. This is officially Kairosoft's first game compatible with the iPad. Now universal with the update.

I can't believe this hasn't exploded on the forum. The screenshots look blurry and it probably wasn't a retina app on the iPhone anyway. I'm personally still waiting on this one to go on sale so can anyone with this already comment on how it looks on iPad? This might be a game I choose to play on the smaller device anyway.
