Belle would make a good iOS platform mascot.

I like this game, and even though the controls are out of the box, they work well. I like how the little guy shoots too, kind of reminds me of the good old Robotech days.

I've only played the first 3 stages of World 1, am already in love with this game. See you on the leaderboards, SV

At first I hated the controls but I still could see the game was good. By the end of world 1 I got used to the controls so I enjoy it a lot now and I actually think that the controls are what makes this game really unique.
So... yeah it's as good as everyone else is saying even if it took me some time to realize it.

This game feels like its "sized" perfectly. Everything feels really well polished.

If this is inappropriate, mods, please delete, but the NCSoft guy did ask, so...
...here's my Project 83113 review for the gaming site I write for. Couple of harsh things in there, but, well, hopefully stuff like Quote:

I wonder what the dev's opinion is on iCloud. Support would be perfect.

I am only going to say this. On my ipad 3, Subway Surfers has raised the bar as high as it can go as far as responsive controls go. The swiping in that game is TO THE MILLISECOND. I grabbed this game, and it is a great game, but there is noticable lag in the controls. That simply isn't going to work for this game, not for me. I find it downright unplayable. If the dev reads this, please go back to your coder and implore him to look at the code and see if he can squeeze some more CPU cycles towards making sure that the swiping is TOP PRIORITY. Even if it means being at the expense of something else, although there is a LOT of both CPU and GPU overhead on the ipad 3 so it shouldn't be hard with this engine.
This is a fresh game, we need more ideas and platformers with new control schemes like this. |
