The original PC version had no music what so ever This port was based on that code and was updated with the Reloaded code for the different game modes.

From Reloaded we took the title music for the iOS version.

But the next update will allow music playback

The first update has cascaded into a massive update Especially if the Universal build pans out...

Just a few hours ago I converted Mutant Storm to be Universal and I've been playing it on a iPhone 4S and an iPod4th. Small baddies won't be a problem but the real problem is the ship can get to the edges and your thumbs can cover it or baddies around the ship.

To cure this problem the ship will have to be more centralised on the screen so it cannot go to the edges and have the level pan around the ship a bit.

The game runs at 60fps on 4th gen and above hardware. Unfortunately 3rd gen hardware will need to run at 30fps - the GPU cannot cope at 60fps.

The menus will need to be re-done for the smaller screens - they look very tiny.

Hopefully converting it to Universal will get you guys loads of sales. I know there's quite a few gamers wishing this was available for the iPod... =oD

Anyway... the game... I finally managed to reach Room 89 last night... but didn't beat it. The final couple of new enemies look FANTASTIC. Definitely love this one (though still, not as much as Space Tripper)... gonna keep trying to unlock the last difficulty as well... then get goin on the Achievements...

Showed the game to friends at work yesterday, and they were totally blown away. Unfortunately, only one of them has an iPad... =oP

But yup... LOVING this one... thank you for all the hard work you've put into porting this! =oD

I'd been looking at the Fling joysticks for iPad for a while, but this game sent me over the edge to ordering a couple. Arrived today!! Oh boy if you haven't tried them you owe yourself a set!

I was pretty much stuck on room 9, but my first go using these I got to room 14 easily and my score is double what it was before!

Highly recommended for any virtual joystick games!

It's a bonus that awards you extra points. There is information in the help menu that explains the power-ups
