I've done everything I can think of - restarted the game, checked the parts list, and I am certain I still haven't received the prize for the Goose Bay event. I received the prize for the rodeo event without any problems and even the San Diego event. Can you please look into this for me? My serial is NB:ERVDSN.

I noticed they usually appear in the cities u pass through and not actually stop. I found my first one just now.

Out of 11 airports, I stop at all but one (pass thru) city. :-/

The way I went about getting parts (at least each of the 3 so that I have the ability to build one) is that I hada plane at each airport I had open (about 12) and flicked through at each job refresh. Puts a stop to the rest of your business but it got my plenty of parts and now I can go back to business as usual (while also doing the event of course).

Just updated and started building new floors. I think it has been months since I played last. Stocking floors took a while. Looking forward to the ability to save VIPs.
