**UPDATE**

I've spent a lot of time reworking this game and completely rebranding it. It's now called Max Blaster and uses dual stick controls as many people requested.

Check out the new trailer. It releases for iOS and Android next week!

For anyone interested in developing iOS games my advice is go become a doctor. We had only 38 downloads on launch day

Dont expect more if your game was not shown before; for indie developers that dont promote their game, the main source of downloads is to be chosen by Apple to be featured in New & Noteworthy on one of the coming weeks after release (New&Noteworthy of the category of the game is not a good source of downloads either xD).
Is your first game and is nothing new I think, nothing that could blow our minds! (without mentioning if its really well done or not), just expect a hard road to success, but keep trying and you will be rewarded.... at the end :P

game needs dual sticks...

other than that, it seems alright... but I can't really tell because my hand is always in the way. =oP

@PJFX

What were you expecting, really? I tried it when it went free and the game is uninspired, to say the least. In a platform such as this one, you can't expect sucess to stem from such a mediocre game. That, the app store has in abundance.

How does becoming a doctor help me develop iOS games though? ;D

I kid of course. Sorry that you guys didn't the response you were expecting. What forms of marketing did you guys opt for? Were you able to get any reviews during the release week window? Its definitely good that you guys put out a video trailer of the game.

I'm sorry, and this is totally unrelated to the game but; this from Mr. Syntheticvoid,
Made. My. DAY.

Now the game. I agree that it really it stinks that my hand is in the way covering up the good graphics. I must say that I laughed with this game a LOT more than most games that try to be a lot funnier. The sound effects are outstanding IMHO in that they are just plain funny. Also, I always find it somewhat comical when all games dont include the auto screen rotation.

If this were a dual stick, and marketed better via free forums etc, I don't think you'll need to go back to med school, but I doubt it will ever be in the Top 50.
I disagree with joydiv in that this game does have that something different to stand out among other crappy AppStore games, and that is it's ability to be fun and make me laugh.

The cold truth is that I am not sure I would ever had paid $2 for it considering..
