I'm pretty new to the game but as soon as I get any duplicates I'll post them here ASAP!

[EDIT] I know this isn't the correct thread for this question but it's kinda related...
If I 'retire' a plane to the Hangar, do I have to scrap it or can I move it to a new airport/city in another region? I'm asking because I'm in Europe ATM and can't afford any airports near Calgary for the world event... but when the next one rolls around, can I move an existing plane there without linking all the airports up??

Yes you can, select 'fly' for the plane in the hanger, it will cost one or two bux (more for later planes I think), and you can choose any of your cities to be a starting city the same as when you buy a new plane.
