Awesome, I've been waiting for a hidden object game to come out that supported Retina!

Yeah but $9.99 for the collector's edition? Since this game is pretty short anyway (with a bit of controversy about the "extra level" in the CE) I'll think I'll wait for a sale ...

Yep, saw the reviews. $10 is pricy (as is $7 for the standard edition).

They actually did a "sale". They had the Collector's Edition for $5.99 on Thursday starting at about 2:00 a.m. EDT. Or in other words, about 5 minutes after I spent $10 on it. AARRGGHH!!

Went ahead and took the plunge. I really do like having the higher-quality graphics, though a zoom function would be nice. Hopefully BFG and other publishers support retina soon. May be a matter of whether the game is new or ported from Mac.

Have only done the first world so can't speak to longevity. Puzzles in the first world are entertaining. I like that it has both match-the-word and match-the-picture hidden object finding. No major annoyances aside from zoom.

I won't say it's worth $10 to everyone. It's certainly not as nice as some of the $10 (or even $5) games out there, though to be fair most of those are full-fledged console ports. But I'm enjoying it anyway.
