This is why you're sitting in your best fighter vehicle, with both thumbs on the controls. It's your job to save the galaxy or die trying. Interesting shooter... I'll have to wait for some reviews though as I am trying to lay off the games after getting back to back Assassins Creed/Zenonia. Thanks for the information though.

here's my first impressions.

It's not bad. You are playing in a large square with various waves of enemies appearing. The game controls reasonably well. There seems to be good level progression from what I can tell (it gets harder) with my brief time with it.

It's only got survival mode. Where you start at level 1 and continue until you die and try to get a high score.

The controls work well enough, though there is something about nano fighter that feels better, even though as a whole the game is more limited.

upgrade bonuses:

sheild replenish
weapon upgrade
slow motion
immunity
bomb
scatter gun
grenade launcher
rocketlauncher

Overall solid but simple geometry-wars-like game probably worth $0.99.

All Right! I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Here are my First Impressions..

Pros
Wow. They might as well have called this iGeometry Wars. It is amazingly similar to the original. With pretty neon graphics, a grid background, and simple shapes as enemies, this is exactly like GeoWars. That's a fact I don't mind. The controls are smooth and responsive. There are multiple weapons you can unlock over the course of a game, and the few I've seen have a nice amount of variety. Each weapon upgrades as well, and then, eventually, a new one is unlocked. The sound track is the expected "retronica" (Ha! Coined!) and the sound effects are pretty blips and bloops, which are pleasant. The gameplay is hectic and fun, and, I think, superior to games like Belowscape and Annihlation Arena, which was recently released.

Cons
However, this game is lacking in a few MAJOR territories. This game has only ONE mode of play. Obviously, the dev just wanted to finish it to it's most necessary form and release it as soon as possible, as is common with many releases. I am hoping for more modes, and possibly, ships or levels, in further updates. But, right now, it might get boring a little quick.

Bottom Line
The bottom line is, if you have a fancy for arena shooters, especially ones like Geometry Wars, you will enjoy this game, probably for it's uncanny similarities to said game. It's a fun and hectic game, and pretty, with nice sound effects and tight controls. However, its lacking in content, and I'm hoping for solid updates. I recommend the purchase, especially for it's current price.

Meh I'll wait for isotope. I already have Belowscape, Nano Fighter, and blue attack for top down shooters.

Agreed, Isotope looks a little more original than this and a little more polished, but this is a nice value, just as good as Nanofighter, if not better, and WAY better then Belowscape and Blue Attack. Just something to consider.
