[Mack the Knife]

i've never played this game so i'm sorry to interrupt your discussions but let me ask one question then i'll shut up. i've downloaded the free version to my iPad 2 and the description says it comes with 3 decks. i only have 2, the red and the green. where is the third? i'm guessing i have to win something but they didn't state a deck needed to be unlocked, only cards. can anyone help please?

Where do you discard them to? It says 'drag to select'. Okay, I drag it up, down, sideways, dropping it everywhere and it won't leave my hand. Is there a special spot to discard them to? I don't see a garbage can icon. Stuck from proceeding.

Yeah that's what I was saying. I just sort of keep flicking them as if to 'play' them. You're being force to discard because the most cards you can have in your hand is 7

I don't want it to do things without my confirmation, I just want to have the interface actually go so I don't have to wait on it. For example, why can't I tap my creatures to attack as fast as I want? Why do I have to wait for it to play the entire moving and tapping animation beforehand? Why do I have to see the word "Block!" slowly scroll across the screen before I can choose my blockers? Why does it wait so long to light up the red circle before I can skip over my own combat phase?

I wish it were more like Ascension regarding the play speed of the animations and general responsiveness. I honestly just got bored, despite loving the game, because the interesting strategic decisions per minute are just too low in this game, solely due to the interface and animations gumming up the game.

Blue, scroll the decks with your finger to find it--there are a lot of decks and it's not obvious that the deck selector is a carousel from the design.

thanks but i realized it was a carousel and only Born of Flame (red) and Pack Instinct (green) are available. if Dream Puppets is blue, it's locked, and all the others are too...??

There is defininitely something screwy with blocking. Needs to be fixed.

In situations where I know I should be able to block, it doesn't work about half the time.

You unlock a blue deck by beating the first opponent, Talrand.

For a measly $10 I'm getting a full blown, modern Magic experience! Anyone who's ever tried getting into Magic with the actual cards knows you'll spend WAY more than that just trying out a couple of different decks. What's a deck now days, like $12 or so? That's just one deck. This game gives you a bunch of decks for a ten spot, just gotta unlock them all.

I'm freakin' loving this!

Good lord, I haven't even turned on Diablo 3 today...

That's the last time I played Magic also. That was a LONG time ago!
