Kickass game for 5year olds and parents [Coop Phonics, UNIVERSAL]

I bought this earlier and my 2 year old loves it. She can not read yet but I am working on it. My 4 and 6 year old both really like it. They were constantly trying to answer the questions for the 2 year old. I hope this sells well enough to keep developing this so that more content is available. Not that I have gone through all of it yet. This app is certainly a success in my house. I rated the app 5 stars of course .

I have a 3 year old ipad wizard so was about to download this... but then noticed it was 640 MEGS!!! What? Why is this so large?

I am utterly amazed at how awesome this app is. My son is having an absolute blast with this game and I am having so much fun seeing his eyes light up as I cannot get enough of the simple fact that he is learning and having fun at the same time. Incredible. The price point of this no matter how low/steep should not be an issue as it is just engaging, cut and dry, and it WORKS! I just started to write reviews for a website and get a lot of apps for my autistic 3 year old son and have seen my son have an app for as little as two minutes and no interest; this app is the far other extreme. We have only had it for a few hours but he just cannot get enough of it. We do have a couple other apps on our iPad that are strictly games but how can you argue having this app and a game on your iPad and seeing your son pick this over the game! Once again, he is only three and autistic, and he is most certainly learning leaps and bounds over any other app I have had thus far on my iPad. I have never had an app on my iPad that I can play with my son to such a far and unique extent, so this developer has found the perfect niche. The one thing it suffers from are the graphics obviously.
Please do yourself and child a favor; free up some space by deleting those mindless games of his/hers and get this.

I hope this dev has more in store for us in the form of updates with more words etc., and I'm REALLY hoping for more apps that may focus on other learning disciplines like math, geography etc.

I'll give it a shot over the weekend - our daughter's only 3 and a half, so we'll have to see how well it goes.

Anything with coop play is nice - she still mostly does jigsaw puzzles, books and video on "her" iPad, but in the last couple of months she's caught on that we can play games together. Her favorites include Gobble Gator, Marble Mixup and Ice Rage.

This game lasts a lot longer than I expected it to! I'll give a full review once my daughter and I have completed it, but for now I'll simply say that my daughter absolutely LOVES this game.

Kempt_Alex - Yes I do have a huge amount of ideas for how this could evolve. It really is a different type of educational genre. I am calling it Social Edutainment. Hopefully when your child gets a bit bigger they can play my new Coop games. I plan on making a library of them!

Cab-Dog - Not sure the gameplay is the same as others. If you know of other games like mine...I would like to know. I had a hard time coming up with this original gameplay...would have loved to have had a template game to look at.

I know the pricing point sucks. I spent a few years developing skills and tech to do the game. 1.99 was cheapest I could sell it for.

BUT THIS WEEKEND IT IS FREE!!!! SO go get it and try it out!

Xstatica - AWESOME!! that is so great. Happy the little ones are playing it and keep coming back to it. I have seen that too. Most apps...kids play once and are done. With mine...because the parent plays with the child it is a different experience. Something they haven't had before. They come back to again and again not so much because my app is great...But Mom or Dad is great. Kids love their parents and just want to play with them. I know that and designed my app to make that experience happen Have many more apps coming in this style.

GloriousGlenn - Please do write a review. This type of game dosen't get alot of attention. It does not have zombie's or aliens. Or huge amounts of killing etc. I have made those games. I wanted to make a game which is only about getting parents and kids together and having fun learning. A great noble idea. But unfortunately not a sexy one that reviewers usually talk about. SO!! If anyone can help me get the word out. AHEM TOUCH ARCADE GODS! It would be great

SumiGuchi I made it with the Unreal engine. There is a TON of content in their so it is a bit big. Am trying to get size down as we speak. But size is worth it.

CabDog Oh man. You made me tear up a bit. Seriously. I have a very close friend with an autistic child. I designed my game so that ANY one could play. Because the parent is the one leading the experience....the child can be taught in the way they learn best. From the one that loves them and speaks their very unique language.

I am so happy you liked the game. I am planning so many more like it. I think you and your child will have a ton of fun.

Drelbs Yes...Co-Op play is my favorite type of game. When I realized there were no Co-Op educational games...I knew something was wrong It is free this weekend! Go get it and play it with your kid. You will have a blast.

Please WRITE A REVIEW! I need help getting the word out. Like I said earlier in this post. NO ONE wants to write about games like this. If it don't have zombies in it....people don't care. But I feel every parent should have an experience like this with their kids.

Just a heads up that the testimonials link you noted above does not open for me. You actually addressed me twice above I'm sure by mistake (no biggie) and that is very very cool that you took the time to respond to each and every review. Wow. Point being, I think a price point of $2 is very reasonable IMHO.
