I don't understand the logic here.

- The game was only $0.99, devs could have charged us more considering DT has excellent visuals and fun gameplay (yes repetitive, but still fun) then price dropped to zero dollars which started all the negative comments. It's only one dollar! I can't even buy lunch with one dollar.
- They come up with new additional contents twice already since it's launch just one month ago but no, Madfinger is again bombarded with all sorts of complaints. What if they stopped making updates after this?

Please respect their efforts to provide us with an enjoyable experience. If you don't like it, go play another zombie game. There are tons of 'em available in the App Store. Why come back here.

i think most of the negative comments came long before the price drop...the price drop just triggered indignation from those who were in denial about the game in the first place.

the truth is, the few people (and i'm sure there's a large group of people who aren't so vocal) that bought the game and aren't so butt-hurt over the price drop are the only ones who actually enjoy the game. those who are upset are just angry that they paid for it, and defended it.

give em back their 99c hard earned cash they've spent on this game and tell them to go away so we can start discussing on how to makes this game better(read: if i can).thats the only way.

this what exactly what i did last couple of years just to see the lights in ios gaming keep shinning bright. and i still doing it until now. be the early adopter for a great games like this or sometimes even i didnt like it that much.

one question according to dark meadow, will we see all the tegra 3 effect on ios someday?

back to topic again :
i think i will not play this game for a while until they add the sprint button to this game. its just weird when you fighting a zombies and you cant run

Back to actual gameplay.

Played for a while earlier and overall I'm quite happy with the update.

Hit accuracy has definitely been improved dramatically, especially on the colt 45.

The ak is still a better weapon than the m4 so for those considering buying it, save for the ak instead. It's a bit less accurate but has a far better range and damage. For those considering an iap gun, the only one worth getting is the Walther p99. I've used all the weapons and the Walther is the only iap one that I repeatedly use.

The new levels are very nice when they are opened up for the pick up the parcels thing. Bit more thought put in to them because you can get trapped very easily and have to fight your way out. More of a challenge.

Speaking of challenge, the difficulty level has increased quite a bit. The swat guys take an awfull lot of rounds to kill. The difficulty increase is a good thing though because it has certainly made it more interesting.

The arena I'm not quite convinced about yet though. Once opened up the map is still quite small, ish. But there are two still locked so have to wait and see. Plus having to pay to open the doors is very similar to COD. But even after earning the cash and opening all the doors, I still earned about 10 grand after one play on it.

Plus I got to test out the head inflator, which looks cool in a bobble head kinda way, gives you lots of headshots if you can aim but otherwise has no real advantage. It does look good though.

The cloud backup is also an extremely handy addition. Every game should have something similar and yes I know there's iCloud but not every game has it. I prefer a back up system to the sync system anyway.

Overall, despite going freemium, I think the update has added an awfull lot to the game.

It's not the greatest game ever made but it was never meant to be anything other than a zombie shoot em up and it certainly does that very well. Still very happy with my cheap day one purchase.

There is a 1.2 update in process as well so there will be further improvements.

its not even out for public yet. so not an issue for the other, anyway the beta was intently made for developer not for public. i use ios 6 and i have 2 new iPad. i currently build my own app and using ios 6 for testing. but on daily use i use my other ipad with 5.1.1.

Madfinger are aware of these issues. From their Facebook page...

"We just found out that in DEAD TRIGGER update 1.1.2 for iOS are missing textures for two weapons: LEWIS MACHINE GUN and BRAIN-MILL. We are working on hotfix now. Thank you and sorry for that."
