Indeed that is very true, I wish the ranking was between lengths of the song though. Oh well I seen Normal mode reached as high as 5th place so I suppose it depends on the song you choose. I'm acheing to finally reach 4 mil, I'm usually 2-3k short which frustrates me.

Also does anyone know how to achieve the 2X that flashes at the bottom of the screen? I'm yet to figure out how that occurs. Thanks for the help!

Look at the color bars at the top of the screen. They increase as you hit notes of that color. When they peak you get 2x for that color (green is hard to get on most songs unless you get a lot of green). Miss any notes of any color and they all go down to 0.

To everyone worried about a 20 song limit, that's not the limit for the # of songs you can have downloaded into your app...just how many you can leave hanging out on their website. You can have as many songs as your pod can handle but hitting "Refresh" to get score updates or download info when you have like 50 songs starts to drag a bit. Basically once you download what you need off the site, start deleting and upload again. Your "old" songs will still be in the game.

That's not true. It erases the songs you erased of the site when you refresh the game.

I'm playing a song right now that isn't on my upload list.

It's also in their FAQ:

How long will ‘beat rider web’ can have the custody of my uploaded songs?

Uploaded songs were hold in our server about 7 days. Already downloaded songs in your iphone(ipod) has no limit of use unless you delete the BeatRider app.

So after 7 days according to your theory your songs would be gone since they wouldn't be on the website. I'll stick with fact and enjoy my larger than 20 list of songs I currently have as well as going by the developers' FAQ and not your guesses.

Has anyone noticed a bug (if it's a bug) that if you play a song on Very Hard or Crazy and there are a lot of notes coming down the game will fast forward through notes lossing out of your combo meter? It's been happening for the past 5 games so far even with a restart of my Iphone 3g.

It's lag. Nothing will stop the music playback so it skips frames to catch back up to get in sync when it lags. It doesn't happen too frequently for me to get upset about it but here's hoping they are able to optimize the game more in an update. Personally I think the iPhone is just lacking sorely hardware-wise and the new phone likely to be announced soon will hopefully give games like this the boost they need.

Well, when I delete songs off of my upload list online, When I refresh, they aren't on my iPhone.
