It plays the entire song as you uploaded it but the beats pretty much just play the bass and drum, andeverytime you tap on one of the buttons it makes either a bass drum, clap, or hi hat sound so you can not really enjoy your music while playing to it since the sounds are louder than the music itself. I mostly have Electronica songs so it really doesnt mess the song up since tht is what part of electronica is composed of, drum beats. But i think the sounds do mess up people that are playing more types of instrumental songs.

I downloaded the lite version and it is very fun despite some of its flaws. The only thing i really wish it had was maybe online multiplayer (if that could be possible) and a 2 player mode. They could add this in future updates and thats what tempts me to buy the full version, especially since its only 99 cents. But i am also ok with only being able to play 3 songs on the lite version, i really dont need 30 songs.... or do I?

Does anyone have the problem of song name and artist/album name displaying in Korean characters and random code? I've found that all special characters like "-" and "!" will be displayed as random code, and any non-English characters will be displayed in Korean, kind of weird. It displays correctly on the "my music" page, but not on the page where the music is downloaded and you click "start".

Hey guys, I've been having a huge problem here, and I was wondering if anybody has been encountering the same.

Firstly, the site keeps logging me out. On my computer, when I log in, and then I click the 'Music Uploads' section, I find myself logged out again.

Second and more importantly, I cannot download any of my own music. I can upload it, but when I try downloading it, it says I have a network error. I come from Singapore, and it seems that this problem is prevalent in my area as another user has left a negative review reporting an issue I believe to be the same as mine.

I have emailed the developers and yet they seem to be able to do nothing to help me. And the Singapore version has not even been updated to 1.1 yet! It didn't even go on the $0.99 sale. It's still at $4.99. I have come to believe that the developer recognized the problems with my area, but yet has chosen to ignore us completely, to shrug off these issues as nothing seems to be able to be done about them. If anyone, especially from Singapore, is having these issues, please PM me details about the error messages you encounter.

Yeah, what gives with the website? It also disconnects me now and then. I'm also wondering why it hasn't been updated. Maybe it's because the US version came out first and perhaps it's slightly different.

Sorry Sierra, you're going to have to wait for the 1.1 update. If you don't have it, your game won't play on 1.0 properly. The site will log you out, you can't download songs etc... Just wait until v1.1 comes out and all those problems should be solved.

Is the IP address problem, I also can't login to upload mine mp3 file also can't download. In Singapore IP address will auto change and it will keep changing when surfing the net.

BeatRider just need to disable strict IP checking, But I dont know why they dont just disable it.

I email them this is what they reply:
"Yes, That's the problem. Does IP change every web page open? You will logged out if your IP changed.
This is to prevent duplicate logins. This is for security policy. Download problem is same problem.
We will try to research how this is possible."

Heh, I've had the most annoying problem with this just now. I've recently updated Beatrider to v1.1 and I re-downloaded all of my songs which were apparently not compatible with the original downloads from v1.0.

That, however, is not the problem.

I just refreshed my list after uploading a few more songs (I originally had about 14), and now it suddenly says it's the LITE version. I had the full version. This really confuses me, as all my songs are still uploaded on the site, (can upload 30, like a full user, not just 1 or 3 or w/e), yet on my iPod, it only shows 3 of them, which seem to be generated at random from my list online, and also has a "Full Version" tag stuck onto the L4-L6 buttons.

Can someone help me at all?

I ask because 10 minutes or so prior to the refresh where it bugged out, I had refreshed it without a hitch. But you want to tell me to buy the game again.
