I've not played this, but it has been out on Android for about a month. Here's a review on Droidgamers to help you out: http://www.droidgamers.com/index.php/game-reviews/5045

That is a review from version 1.4 but the iOS version is 1.5

Version 1.5 has the following improvements -

* Added gang bosses to the campaign levels.
* Added a new input button for walking backwards.
* Enemies now drop their weapons when killed.
* Added level art improvements.

Based strictly on the Android video I just watched at the Droidgamers link, I tend to agree with their sentiments. It looks pretty enough, but the variety is minimal and it seem like the levels are on the long side given that, and it seems a bit grind-y. I really want to love this game, and I'm admittedly saying this based on watching something, but I worry how much variety is here, no matter how deep you go. I'm all ears about anything the dev has to say.

Future Shooter was featured on 3 big android games sites when released (it was called Future Mayhem when released on the android) :

Appolicious advisor (part of Yahoo) -

Gizmodo (big tech site) -

PlayAndroid -

When it was featured above the game version was 1.2. It has had a lot of improvements / additions since then.

Future Shooter also currently has 4 half stars out of five on Google Play

It's hard to recommend this right now as the game lacks polish in controls, gameplay and visuals.

For controls, there's a static vstick that doesnt work if your thumb goes over the circle. Then there's a button that you can tap and hold to automatically walk backwards while still facing the other directions, kinda like strafing while walking backwards. It felt awkward. Plus, if your thumb goes over the vstick and moves too close to the strafe button, you lose control of the character for a moment, because he doesnt move forward as intended.

As for gameplay, think zombieville 2 with 3 buttons for shooting/using different weapons. Thing is, for the first 10 minutes i was playing the game, I only saw 3 types of enemies, one of which showed up only on the second half of those 10 minutes. Problem is, if you are facing about 10 enemies on screen at once, and all of them looked the same except for a couple, it just looks too lacking. Im sure there will be more enemies later on, but this needs some attention from the devs to balance out repetitivenes with something else. Also, each stage is divided into sort of "waves" where you get to the next wave by moving forward. The problem here, is that 1 stage consists of (i didnt count btw) about 10 of these waves and each one had the same enemies over and over AND getting through 1 stage took too long to hold my attention. I decided the game isnt for me after that, and didnt even see if there is a shop or a loadout screen where you can change equips and such.

As for visuals, polish is still lacking. You can see black background coz as you move forward, the game runs out of "level graphic." Move a little bit further, and the stage shows up replacing the one you are currently standing. The devs should have seen this if there was any testing done. Oh, and if it helps, i was playing this on an ipad3, and the bigger screen may not be the native reso of this title, hence the graphic glitches.

Overall, from what i've seen, the game isnt somethingi'd recommend, and it is downright boring. Im sure the devs can improve the game with some of the things i pointed out. Maybe shorten each level since it's just a loop of enemies and stage graphics.
