Default Any games similar to Super Mario RPG???

I remember being a kid and playing super Mario RPG and I would love to play a game that's similar in style. I think it's turn based and free roaming...any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of, though I wouldn't say it necessarily offers free-roaming, would be Saturday Morning RPG, although it perhaps has more in common with the Mario & Luigi RPGs than SMRPG.

And I heard good things about Saturday morning RPG. I'm gonna try it out and post up impressions in a bit. Thank you.

What he's looking for is more RPG and less platformer.

I think he meant Paper Monsters by Crescent Moon Games.

It's and Rpg mAde by square and nintendo... Therefore any jrpg could be what ur looking for unless it's something more specific...

My first suggestion would be squids and squids wild west, theyre turn based RPGs with comedy aspects...

Second would be Final Fantasy 3 from the same people, similar graphics and gameplay

3rd would be battleheart which is a bit different than ur traditional Rpg but I reccomend it

Finger shot Rpg - more of a strategy type game but another good one
Others

For jrpgs on iOS -

Ported games (from older systems)

Chrono Trigger
Phantasy star 2
final Fantasy/2
Vay
Crimson gem saga(I hear it doesn't work on iOS 5 though)
Cthulu saves the world

iOS originals -

Ash/2
Dragon fantasy
Adventure bar story
Fall of Angels
Alphadia
Symphony of eternity
Grinsia
Eve of Genisis
Guardian saga
Final fantasy chaos rings/2/O

Others -

Space miner
Battleloot adventures
Final Fantasy Tactics
Crimson steam pirates
Rune raiders
Palm kingdoms
Shining force
Galaxy on fire 2
Across age dx
The bards tale
Eternal legacy
Dragons odyssey frane

Listen to GeekyDad. I haven't played SMBRPG, but I know it had tap or timing based battle sequences. Oh, and the game has 2 episodes; the first is free. I'm enjoying it right now.

Otherwise, look for a game to come out in the future called Last Chance Heroes. I have the original version, which was pulled because the dev wasn't satisfied with how the game came out. When (if) the much improved game is released, snatch it up.
