For them to show up quickly in your friends screen on happy street I found you need to:

Once you accept the request/your request is accepted, completely quit out of Happy street [eg multi swipe in any direction, click and hold till you see a reg circle + minus sign, and click the minus to fully quit out of the game], then re-enter the game. This should bring your newly acquainted friends into the friends world screen.

- with that said, I could always use a few more friends, I don't mind trading straight across 1:1 crystals [mine are red]. I seem to lack blue the most. Name on GC is: JeffJu1ce
