Yeah I've got a few (10) 4 player games going but they've all stalled over the last few days, not had a turn in over 24 hours on any of them.

I have a couple four player games going as well as 2 player games. Except for the bugs they have been moving along pretty well.

No that was a bug, it's fixed in the first update, which we're still waiting on Apple to approve.

I mentioned this a couple of days ago, I think I must have found a "back door" which allows us to sign up as two players and play both characters on the same device. While it may not be as fun to play two heroes by yourself as it is to play teamed up with several friends, it is a VERY fast way to play the game through to see the different quests.
I am into the 7th Quest and this is only the 3rd or 4th day of playing it that way, I have several games that were started on release day that are moving along, but the highest is in Quest 4, so it definitely is a faster way to play and you get to see the levels.

What I did was to start a new game and put myself into Slot #1 and then invited my own email address to play.....when I played my "Slot 1" hero I was then asked to choose a character for "Slot 2" and I have been playing it as a two party game ever since.

After each turn, I hit "End Turn" just like normal....then "Menu"..."Back", the other character rotates to the top of the players list....and you are ready to play the other hero!

I feel kind of privileged.....I just read on his blog thread where Brandon is going to leave the "backdoor" in place so you can play it by yourself, (at least for a while anyway)...he tells about the updates and talks about this "bug"....lol

PM me with details about your characters and I can get him back in the game. I've removed the skills that are putting people into walls on the server so it shouldn't happen again.

I wanted to let you all know that I just posted an update on our blog that outlines all the changes we've made in the first update ( 1.0.2 ). It's been in Apple's hands for almost a week now so hopefully it will be released very soon.

I also wanted to let you know that in this post I mention the 'single player' bug that 2gofast described and I'm not going to 'fix' it. I know that some people are having trouble playing the game multiplayer and if you're interested in just playing the game as two characters I'm not going to stop you.

We didn't intend to include this functionality because each turn hits our servers and those are costs that we have to incur but I want all of you to be able to play through the game and if you find the best way to do this is playing two characters then more power to you.

Let me know what you think about the post. I'm already working on the next update so if you see additional items that aren't on that list let me know so I can get them in the queue.

It is... but there's a bug where you can invite yourself to play in a party, so you can go play with yourself if the multiplayer option isn't panning out for you. If you choose to do this, Brandon isn't going to stop you.
