TA Forums Game of the Week! (July 11th)

The results from last week are here! First place goes to Summoner Wars with 52 votes. Outwitters takes the second place with 47 votes, and the third spot is taken away by Left2Die with 14 votes. Congratulations to all the winners!

The results from the week prior are as follows:

Kingdom Rush - 24 Votes
Nihilumbra - 23 Votes
Dead Trigger - 15 Votes


The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be the GOTW.

Please note:

1) Devs cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it.
2) This voting is for TA members - no outsiders allowed. You cannot bring outsiders to join simply to vote and increase your ranking in this thread.

Notice of this poll will be given in the threads of all nominated games.

Additional games that spring up in the next few days will be added to the OP, so no worries. Please wait until Thursday to begin giving nominations - this is so that we can get the majority of games listed before making decisions. Feel free to help out and list games I haven't added yet. I'll post the pending NZ releases to alert the community to them.

Since I missed a lot, I would appreciate someone letting me know what games are eligible for this week. You guys are awesome!


Oh, and (based on a suggestion) I'm thinking of having a "best of GOTW" thread based from the top games of the last year as voted by us. That's right, 13th of July will mark a year of these threads. How awesome is that?

This poll would have the same structure as the weeklies, but only previous GOTW winners would be eligible and I might leave the nominations open for two (or even three) weeks - what do you guy think?

Super Ox Wars by Llamasoft ?

That gets my vote, Jeff Minter normally seems to release his games any day apart from the huge Thursday 12am time !

Came out just the other day, brilliant shoot em up

Also perhaps Swift Stitch as well which came out mid week, great vector game which wouldnt have looked out of place on the Vectrex 30 years ago
