Time to mention a little bit about the game eh?

PS: However, it's really interesting for me seeing those posts above.

Thing is, this game is a rehash, nothing exceptional here, and you have to admit it, all of you

UPDATE: And just because its Rovio it doesn't mean its good. There are tons of better developers out there that deserve more recognition than that Suomi company

That'd be you, if we're really going to play this game. It seems like you need to take some time off to calm down and stop overreacting in completely unrelated threads, if you're honestly not able to post with any perspective or even a shred of honesty.

But, while you're here, kicking and screaming, riddle me this: would you rather Rovio had simply made their own knockoff of CC to poach customers from the original developers, instead of seeking them out and paying them very well ("an offer we couldn't refuse", in the developers' own words) to own the IP themselves?

That's a bit of a straw man there. I don't see anyone suggesting that it would have been better for Rovio to make a total copy of Casey and rip off all the ideas.

That having been said... It's not like Casey's concept was original either. While I'm sure it's great for the original developers to get handed a big wad of Rovio cash, yeah, I would rather have seen Rovio make a different game with the same basic concept. Competition is good for us, the consumers. Maybe we would have ended up with two better, competing games.

Angry Birds wasn't an original concept either, but, love it or hate it, at least they made their own game with the concept.

I don't blame the Casey developers for selling, btw. But would it have been better for the rest of us to get a new game? Yeah, probably.

My post was entirely relevant to your post. However, your post just now actually had nothing to do with what I posted. I didn't post anything about TA not posting news or supporting Rovio

As for the riddle, I would have Rovio develop a new good original game, if that's within the realm of possibility. Maybe it's not, since your options seem to suggest they can either buy CC or make their own CC ripoff, not develop anything new completely unrelated to CC or TIM/Rube Goldberg machines.

You clearly haven't been reading through my "tantrums", because I've been asking for ANY news to be posted about SW. I haven't asked for a review at all, because they'll post a review whenever anyway. But now we're really veering off course... Go Rovio!

When we're done with Rovio, let's pick up our pitchforks and flaming torches and descend upon Valve.

Yeah, that dastardly company that hijacked Nuclear Monkey's first-person puzzle game, Turtle Rock's co-op zombie shooter, Team Fortress Software's team-based Quake mod, Dalai's top-down Alien Breed-esque Unreal Tournament mod, and IceFrog's Warcraft 3 mod.

Portal, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, Alien Swarm, and Dota 2—all hijacked and stolen. So much for creating original content, Valve!

All aboard the Rovio hate bandwagon! Next stop: the nearest brick wall, at great speed.

Valve deserves only praise and our respects. Steam is one of the reasons for that. And Half-Life, Portal and Counter-Strike + tons more. Its a completely different company than Rovio. Completely. Angry Birds is a thousand quality years away from anything Valve has ever done.
