Nightfall is a little more... Directly confrontational than Ascension. You're attacking the other player(s) in Nightfall. Not so much in Ascension.

Most people favor Ascension, but Ascension has also been around longer and has more expansions and such. Nightfall has a ways to go on that front.

Still, you'd be crazy to pass it up for a buck.

Thanks for the insight. I would have bought it regardless, but I was curious on people's opinions. I would think this game would be less fair since everyone could just gang up on one person. I just started though and maybe I will enjoy it more as I learn the intricacies of the game.

Both are really great, I don't understand why someone would be confused, the game has an in depth tutorial I found very good. Assencension has a bit more variety cause of the expansions, I've read that the Martial Law expansion for Nightfall has been submitted so it should be dropping soon. A deffinate buy for $1 that's really a steal for one of the best card games in the App Store I'd say

Great TCG well worth it for fans of the genre. It plays very differently from Playdek (and just about any) other offerings in the genre; a plus in my book.

This will be back on sale for .99 in a few hours (in the US). It's already on sale again elsewhere.

If you like CCGs/TCGs and don't mind learning a unique gameplay system, then this is a steal.
