Looks more like Puyo-Puyo, which is awesome.

Any news on IAP yet? So far this looks like one of the highlights of tonight's releases.

Well, since it's Bulkypix, you can expect a fair IAP system / freemium system.
So again, why oh why are they doing that to me? *sob*

LOL, hey, just noticed, the trailer was made with iMovie!

This is reminding me somewhat of Puzzle Quest 2 atm, with the movement over the map to find chests, interactions and enemies etc. Combat is definitely more Puyo-Puyo as Strivemind says. Trying to power through it to find the IAPS, I imagine they'll be the keys that I currently have 0 of. There's a restore purchases option though which is always a nice sight.

Will update when I find out what the IAPs are.

Edit: This is a weird little thing. There are elements of almost Tower Defence in the battles whereby matches of 5 or more send the blocks through a pathway, attacking any opposing blocks and then attacking same coloured blobs on the enemies screen if they get through. Outside of battle, you can find cards that give you new blocks or spells, so there are CCG elements too it seems. The tutorials are slightly too long and the swiping to move is a little sluggish but it's very interesting so far. Still no signs of IAP yet, but there's definitely no energy bar. Annoyingly, I can't tell the difference between the reds and oranges, being colourblind. It's not a massive deal but it's worth knowing for others as rubbish as me!

Uh, this looks good. Don't like tetris that much so I'll have to see how it plays out combined with match3 mechanics.

Been playing this for nearly an hour now with no sign of any IAPs. I can't see it being the keys now that I've played for longer, so I can only assume it's gold, crystals, cards or some combination of those but none of them would I say are that necessary to progress. It's pretty good fun, far more strategic than I initially gave it credit for and there's some nice touches like hidden interactions that aren't highlighted. Definitely recommended, will keep playing soon to find the IAPs though

With that, you've killed me.

But why is that game in the universal section?

It looks a little like Castlevania Puzzle.
