IF optimised properly, well I think crashes depend person to person I never had more than 4-5 crashes or framerate drops ever in IB,IB2,arkham city lockdown, dark meadow.Desert zombie is the only game that lagged badly or crashed frequently but an update fixed that.I think It depends upon devs. as to how much effort they put in optimising a game.

As far as gl are concerned they don't really optimise their games, they just remove all graphical effects and put low quality textures making their games look like they were made for ps1.TKDR is a good example of it.

You really think iPod is that good? Trust me, it's not.

well John Carmack believes it is that good, the specs are there as well so it should handle these graphics quite easily.TDKR on ipad 2 looks on par with assassin's creed on psp but that doesn't mean that ipad 2 is on par with psp,it's far more powerful.
you guys really underestimate power of these devices.I'am sure you would have thought that IB was not possible on iphone 4 as well.

I'm not underrestimating power of iPad 2, but iPod I am. It has 130mb free ram available most of the time when no apps are running in the background. That's not a lot. Especially compared to iPad 2 or 3. And about your crashes and lags, don't know what games you've been playing, but they happen very often on big games
