Thanks guys for the save game tutorials and instructions! For some reason, I decided to start saving all my save files today. The hours I've put into some RPG's and TDKR add up!

I've noticed that sometimes when you get a tech box from the back of a van, you can also get a couple thousand credits with you consumable prize. And thanks for the tutorial JBRUU. I will back up my save files then reinstall, hopefully that will fix the problem.

Wouldn't it be easier to just copy the Document and Library folders, paste them in a save folder, then reinstall, delete the new Document and Library folder and replace them with the previously copy folders.BTW, how do you like Quasar? I a, thinking about buying it, but I am not sure. And if you don't mind me asking, what mods do you have for gta3?

Quasar can be...buggy at times. Great little tweak, though I must honestly admit that I haven't found much use for it besides this video and playing IB2 and MC3 at the same time (at 15 fps, but hey, it worked). GTA3, ah good old Rockstar. Sure I don't mind, I actually *big grin* contributed to the GTA 3 modding thread, me and thirstydude picked up the torch so to speak after K0N3 had to take a break. I have enhanced particle effects, enhanced realtime reflections on the cars, enhanced lighting effects, new explosion, water and fire effects, extra blood effects, skid marks, bloody slid marks, dirt skids, skid smoke and smoke when revving the engine, antialiasing turned on, newspapers and leaves floating around Liberty, about 10-12 modded cars with modded handling (the handling file I made myself, also makes the dodo a cinch to fly ) and probably some others that I forgot about. Yes I'm proud of it tool me forever to compile and test the thing, but finally it's working really nicely. I think I posted my mod pack on the GTA 3 modding thread of you want it, then thirstydude made some mods to mine and replaced some cars. I wouldn't recommend it for an a4 device, if it didn't crash the framerate would probably chug at, oh, 5 frames per second but if you have an a5 or a5x then give it a go. Haven't tried it on an a5 only my iPad 3, but I think it'll be fine. Just be sure to BACK UP THE SAVES in case something gets screwed up.Edit: oh yes and I also added some choice radio stations from vice city to replace MXS and GAME FM (ugh). Some of those stations are just classic. Last edited by JBRUU; 07-24-2012 at 04:09 PM.. |

Yes, but look on the bright side — Gameloft provided that handy dandy IAP store for you!

THIS DOES NOT INVOLVE TDKR
THIS DOES NOT INVOLVE TDKR THIS DOES NOT INVOLVE TDKR Hey JBRUU, I was wondering if you could instruct me as to how to download mods for gta3. I would've asked you on the GTA modding thread, but it seems like the thread died. Anyway, I want to download the GTA 3 Mobile Mod Pack. [(http://www.4shared.com/zip/xiT0vUSp/...ile_Pack.html?) Page 31, Post #307 by "thirstydude".] It seems like a comprehensive pack of mods. However, in iFile, the file is bunches of text with no .readme with instructions, so I am left clueless as how to download it. By the way, I have an iPad 2, and I realize the pack is originally for the new iPad. I read the whole GTA modding thread, and it seems like modded cars take up a lot of RAM, something which the iPad 2 doesn't have alot of. If there is a way to install everything else except modded cars in the event of this crashing, please tell me. |

Sometimes you will open tech boxes and get a couple thousand coins, i haven't bought any coin IAP and I already have two things fully upgraded. I am currently on the saving Lucius mission ,so I still have quite a ways to go. However, I would suggest spending $1.99 to get an XP and coin boost, as over the long run it really helps and the game is easily with $8.98. Speaking of coins, is there any determining of factor of how many coins you get after each KO? Sometimes I get 6 coins, sometimes 4, and sometimes 3. Oddly enough though, I have never gotten 5 coins to my knowledge.

Hey guys. Loving the game and am up to chapter 3. Have a quick question. In the hints it says you can roll away when a sniper targets you. Any ideas how this is done?
This game is pretty awesome when you start powering up. Little glitchy but still awesome. Thanks ahead for the reply. |
