The graphics are really cool and feel home grown. Initially I thought the intro video was too long but after watching the whole thing, I was glad I did. It sets up the story.

Here's where things get strange. I couldn't figure out the first level. It's not intuitive what's supposed to be accomplished, even from watching the tutorial. I feel like an idiot, but I spent 20 mins trying to get past the TV level and couldn't get it.

Take it for what it's worth. I'm not a hardcore gamer. But if you're target is the casual gaming market, a more in-depth tutorial that is baked into gameplay is really needed.

Thanks for the feedback! A lot of people have commented that they are having a tough time getting started so we are currently working on adding a walk through for the first couple of areas in the game to add to the first update.

We are also considering dropping more hints in the dialogs. This is our first point and click adventure game, and we are learning as we go. The TA forums are a big help.

Wow, thanks for the positive feedback! We have about 150 areas/rooms laid out for the complete story(including the warehouse and the area unlocked when you get the secret code to that first room door)We were aiming for epic, and like many first timers we probably bit off more than we could chew. Hopefully we can add an artist and programmer to help us make the next chapter twice as long, and eventually release it all in one volume.

I have downloaded About to Blow Up Part 1 from the app store for my Mac. This game is a lot of fun and I really really love the artwork. I am finding the puzzles to be a little frustrating at times because there is no way of what it will take to solve them sometimes. I am stuck outside the building and there is a rat in a helicopter, I am not really sure how to proceed from here. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

-Click the left green arrow to make Fat Thug come out holding Pizza Burger
-Take Pizza Burger from Fat Thug
-Click on right window and on all the thugs that come out repeatedly until Brown Afro Thug comes out, give him the Pizza Burger
-Click the left window and on all the thugs that come out repeatedly until Brown Afro Thug comes out, this will trigger Fat Thug to jump in window thus unblocking the path

Thanks! The creator is taking a sabbatical after spending many months on his game. He already has a lot of assets ready thought, so hopefully it won't take too long once he gets back. Maybe a few months.
