*** AppMyWorld Top 5 game of the week 8/15/2012

FLUXE reverses traditional falling-block gameplay by putting the player in control of which pieces drop. Tap the piece that you want on the right side of the screen, and it falls in the well on the left. No need to slide or rotate. It's very simple, and perfect for a touchscreen!

See how many levels you can complete and how many points you can rack up along the way! Store up bomb and refresh tiles to help get through the tougher short levels. Complete challenges to earn achievements that multiply your score! Battle your friends on the leaderboards!

Fluxe is easy to pick up, but hard to master. Think carefully when choosing your blocks! Four difficulty modes keep it challenging and fun for everyone!

If you like falling-block games, you should defintely check out FLUXE - it's a very different take on a fun genre.

BlackJacketGames's comments:

Hello awesome TA people,

We are a couple of former AAA developers that went indie a few years ago. We've spent a bunch of time on it and we think the interface for a falling-block game is the best on the market at the very least. It's coming out this Wednesday the 25th. For a buck, cheap.

Min device: iPod 2nd Gen
Min iOS: 3.2.2

3W9HKEL494YW taken. Really enjoying the game - I'd describe it as Tetris with more thinking since you can see and select from many different pieces, allowing you to plan ahead how you can best clear the board. Very well designed and ideal for quick gaming sessions. Good job devs!

Used XME73M67RP69 and the last one is already taken. How is it that we can use the codes even though the game isn't out yet?

Thanks acey, that's exactly what we wanted the experience to be, it's more of a tactical game than a dexterity game like most falling-block games. Cool to see that you "get it", thanks for posting.

@iSky - we get the codes when Apple approves the app. That's why many games have reviews day-of release, the dev sends out the codes to the review sites before it goes live.

Any plans for a Universal update with iPad Retina visuals? That's pretty much the only thing on my wishlist - the game itself is great.

@aceyprime - I would love to update the visuals and do a nice iPad version that has better graphics and more columns and more gameplay modes. Whether that happens depends on how well the game does. Tell your friends! Leave a review on the App Store!

@iSky - Thanks so much! Please leave an App Store review!
