Default Best level to grind for gear

Hi all. Just getting into this game, and it's pretty entertaining. I would just like to find out which level would have the best yield in terms of gear and silver for a beginner?

I am just starting out, and I can't get past lvl 10 of Undead Spire and trying Spider Lair lvl 1 gets me killed pretty fast too.

I am probably really lousy but I am at lvl 19, and am using all blue gear. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi. Try to grind Undead Spire level 5 for gear. Try to practice your blocking. Then you farm Undead Spire level 10 for gears. I'm sure you can beat that level soon. I had a hard time with Spider Lair. On my first run of the game I completed Shivering Refuge before Spider Lair 4. Good luck!

I was using IOS 6 Beta 3, no way to change the date back, full restore from backup, fortunately I saved the game to icloud at level 35, I was at level 40. Back to 5.1.1 now so that that I can change the dates

lol... that's nice to hear... the best I think is the 5th day gift... a 5 diamond gift.. however you need to skip the 6th day to reset from day 1... lol

a lot of grinding on the date vs a lot of grinding vs the monsters...

anyways, happy grinding...

Shivering Refuge gave me my best stuff too. One way I farmed for a while was finding one of the levels you skip most of the level by making a beeline toward the boss and killing that minimum number of enemies along the way. Pick a boss that you can beat easily. I was able to maximize the number of drops I could keep..

For the Spider Cavern..found a semi "exploit" in my opinion to handle some bosses. In the main big room, there's an obsticle in the center of the room that looks like a pile of spider webs. Seems that's a hard obsticle and bosses can't dash or shoot poison through that whole area covering from ground to ceiling. So I just stayed directly on the other side of the obsticle and wait for the bosses attack pattern to finish...go in for 2-3 hits..and repeat. I was able to save rage for the bosses with shorter attack patterns that this "exploit" doesn't work as well. Hope this helps some people if they're having trouble with this set of stages.
