Café International - The Boardgame [Universal]

So, I gave it a try:

First, very nice translation from the classical boardgame to iOS!

I have a few questions:

• Is there an update planned with the original board from the board game?
• Will there be a possibility to add new card designs?


All in all, a very nice game. In addition with San Juan, this week is a perfect week for boardgamers on iOS.

I am not sure, I think we need to discuss that and try a few designs. I don't think it would work on an iPhone at all, for the iPad it would be a completely different design and programming, so not just another layout. And then it could well be simply a licensing question, so this one is not easy to answer now.

Yeah, this was asked before already, and I personally like the idea, specifically because there are so many unrepresented nations still. Or you could do it with professions (Doctors, Bankers etc.), Kids and more as add-ons. But ultimately it might be -- as above -- a licensing question, because after all this is also a "brand" that needs to be secured, so actually I can not promise this right now as well.

Sorry for not being more specific right now. And after all, my focus is on Multiplayer for now anyway

I like this board game, the price is a bit high but it's fun and challenging - worth the price. Wondering why do I have 3x10% in the end of each game?
One complaint : THERE SHOULD BE A WRITTEN TUTORIAL.
Currently there's only video tutorial and sometimes I want to check the scoring rules and other questions (such as the 10%) but I can't stand to wait.
I think you should add rulebook or some sort (or maybe I can't find it).

Well, actually there is something like that. We have a strategy guide, and it also includes all the rules (and also explains the final extra bonus ;-)

If you have at least an iPad 2, then there is an iBook for you. If you have an iPad 1 or iPhone/iPod, you can visit the Application Systems Website and download a PDF to read on your PC or print.

I've read this thread, but I still have very little idea of how this game plays, so I'd like to read the rules to see if it sounds like something I'd enjoy.
