I've had a couple of occasions already when I got coins after petting Diggster but that goal never got completed.

Weird! Sounds like a bug then.

Of course the biggest bug I encountered was my game being corrupted and wiping my progress...

My game seems to have become corrupted as well, except in my case, the game crashes during launch. I'm guessing if I reinstall that may fix it but of course then I'll lose my progress. :|

[edit] ah, saw your earlier post - it would seem we're having the same problem after all.

Try downloading a free app from the app store using your iPhone, not syncing using the computer. Once the free app has downloaded open the free app and run it for about 10 seconds. Close the app and relaunch the game that is crashing. Should fix the problem.

Just out of curiosity... does yours also crash at 69% load? Mine always crashes at 69% and immediately after it seems to log into Gameloft Live...

Weird. Definitely send them a help request. Maybe they'll get the idea that it's a bigger issue...

I tried turning off wifi thinking it was maybe an issue with logging in but that didn't help either...

I checked their site - it says if you're experiencing crashes, your game has become corrupted, and you need to reinstall, which will delete saved games. Great answer.
So I left a complaint in my review.

Just sharing - these goals have been sitting there on my game for a long time now:
Pet your Diggster until he gives you gold coins
Pet Monsters 3 times in a Random Ranch

I've actually completed these but they've never registered. Very odd.
