This game is highly unstable. The first time I played for about 10 days, before smashing into a major bug. The game would freeze at 69% during loading. GameLoft's customer support suggested I reinstall, but of course that deleted my progress.

I contacted Apple, and they refunded all IAP's for the game. It's now crashing again, so I'll wait in hopes of a proper bug fix. However, I suggest that everyone who's experienced this crash, contact Apple and request their $ back. If enough of us do it, either Apple or GameLoft will get tired of losing money, and fix the problem.

Wow, you got the crash too? That's three of us that have reported it in this thread. That's pretty messed up, especially given Gameloft's response about it (which I also saw on their web site).

Yeah, I'm one of the three that it happened to. I'm not playing any more until an update comes out.

This is unique game. It is full of fun. I like this game so much.

My nine-year-old got hit with the same game-killing bug this morning.

He was at level 25 and had 8 creatures. He LOVED those creatures.

He now hates Gameloft with a red-hot passion. He even deleted Order & Chaos off his iPad.

Ouch, that sucks. I have to say, Gameloft makes nice looking games, but the substance beneath that pretty exterior is often lacking. This is not the first time I've come across problems with their games, either bugs or design flaws.

With iOS games, indie is really where it's at.

Speaking of which actually, my company, LCD Dreams, is going to be announcing a new mobile game soon - probably next week. Nothing related to Monster Life though (besides a lighthearted style), so I won't go into details here.

We have now hit the same 69% load bug as well, and my son is bummed. Guess I'll be reaching out to Apple for a refund on my IAPs.

I was at level 23 when suddenly the app crashed. All my data was lost and now I'm back at level 2. I thought there was a way I could restore my data if I searched online, but seeing that it happened to a lot of people with no solution I guess that's it. Won't be playing this game anymore, or any Gameloft games out there
