Well I've been playing this some today. And while it starts off slow (I almost quit) I'm glad I didn't as when you unlock the second world it picks up and the game is great fun. You start abducting cats by the sack load and it's hilarious.
Well worth picking up if your into the crazy type of stuff you usually only find on the app store. When you start combo'ing power ups and cats it starts getting crazy.

Not long until I was hooked probably less than half an hour to reach the second world and it really picked up from there.

Thanks to the devs I was able to get a code from them and MAN OH MAN - what an ADDICTING game!

So the premise - you have these UFO's and they each have a certain strength of their beam in order to "beam up" all these cats. The beam strengthens as you gather cats, gather power ups, gather coins, etc. Some cats are bigger and can't get trapped until the beam is stronger so you have to decide whether to just go for combos or to try to unlock some power ups by sucking up the bushes. Or whatever other strategy you decide.

I have unlocked a few UFO's and really really enjoy doing that. I have also unlocked the second planet but honestly haven't even tried it yet. On the first planet I have too many stars left to collect! Stars -- you get one for certain "achievements." Like a certain combo, a certain level to your beam, a certain species of cat, etc. It appears each planet has about 18 or so and they total to 72 (I think, its not in front of me).

The movement is really slick and precise. Your finger does get in the way a tad though but it doesn't impede your progress. You can chase a bunch of fast running cats, go for a stronger beam to get the bigger cats, try for a cat nap or the power up that unleashes a flurry of little cats for bigger combos. And then there are coins hidden in the bushes. Coins allow you to power up your ship, or unlock new and stronger ones.

All that ^^^^ is the great obviously.

So here is the bad - not much mind you. So all those stars that you collect, they DO help you unlock the planets BUT there is Game Center enable but those stars are not achievements. In fact the game doesn't even have achievements. Just a leader board. Very easy to make all those stars achievements - this coming from the least achievement hound ever - however, I bring this up because it would be awesome to check what stars you need to get without going into the little tracker they have in the app. Ok I told you it was petty.

Even pettier still is the comet in the first world at nighttime - I keep thinking there is a smudge on my screen. See? Told ya the gripes were really minimal!

Get this game folks! It will be the sleeper hit of the week -- you heard it hear first! GET IT! You will be late to appointments just like I was today cuz you have to play "just one more time!"

I've had a copy of this for about a week and just wanted to chime in a say it's a lot of fun to play. Similar to games like Jetpack Joyride in that you have a lot of replayability in order to unlock more ships and more planets and it keeps sucking you back in to play it... one... more... time.
Whether you like cats and want the aliens to get cats or hate cats and want aliens to take them away (heehee) I really recommend this game and had a lot of fun previewing it! The artwork is syrupy sweet and the gameplay is quite addictive. Thanks!

Is this game a sequel or something? I could've sworn I've played this game before.

Didn't it used to be called Cats Up or something?
