I really would like my money back! Given how terrible the port is, I could have spent that money on the pc version and be fine, instead I have a terrible control scheme and bad framerate.
How come that games like the Cave shooters run perfectly smooth on my device and this game is struggling to run anywhere near to decent at all? So how about that developers? Give me my money back or give me the pc version for free. |

How do you do that? I really would like my money back, so a refund from Apple would be great!

Go to your purchase history in iTunes, then click on report a problem next to the app you want to get refunded, in this case Wizorb. And you can fill out the things they ask you. Most of the time they will refund your purchase if you have a legit reason

Yeah but the problem is, I did this and reported that the app didnīt work as expected and then filled out the textbox telling them about the control scheme and the terrible framerate. After I sent this I get a message, that appsupport is only via the developer and now I canīt send another report to apple about this app.
Itīs totally stupid from Apple to tell people after they filled out the form that they wonīt get support from them. Now it seems, I am screwed. |

I'm going to jump off the bandwagon here and say that, on my iPhone 4S, this game works perfectly and is easily 5 stars.
Firstly, in the town, yes the movement is cumbersome but when you actually think about it and imagine the screen being split into 4 quadrants it is easy to control your character. 'Non-functional' is a complete exaggeration; yes it could be streamlined and should be, but it works fine at the moment and for such a small part of the game is irrelevant fussing over. Secondly, the outrage over the bar. On my iPhone (may be different for iPad), the bar is pretty small and is no eyesore at all - firstly because YOUR FINGERS ARE OVER IT most of the time so it doesn't need to be extravagant, and it blends in with the iPhone device and simply looks as if the same is that bit less long. The devs could have stretched it or filled the gap but this would either a) stretch the graphics like it does on the Vita; b) be pointless as your fingers hide it or c) actually clash and distract you from the actual playing field in game. Do you know why the border around the 3DS top screen is not polka-dot but instead black? It helps you focus on the screen. Finally, the controls work fine for me. With my left thumb I can cover as much of the screen as I need comfortably and I get no lag. I reckon the A and B buttons could be more responsive and bigger but the sliding works fine. This is a difficult game; the first world can get very frantic and tense! But personally the controls on an iPjone 4S are great, and I think anyone who has the same device and says otherwise either doesn't treat their device well or sucks at the game. tl;dr don't be put off if you have an iPhone 4S. Any other device, maybe hold off. |

Yeah, I'm not really having too many control issues on my iPod... but on my iPad... it's REALLY bad...

OK, is there ANY other way to get support from Apple regarding the iTunes store? As said before, I screwed up in checking the wrong category for my problem and now I canīt file another report for that app!
This system is seriously flawed! I just want a refund for this game! |

So far my impressions are in line with what diffusion8r wrote. I'm playing on an ipod touch 4G, and the controls seem to be fine in the battle area. There's a little lag in the menus, but it's been responding fine in the combat areas. In the town, the controls are passable, but not that smooth. It looks the game is using tiled sprites, but your character can move in half-tile steps, making it tricky to line yourself with characters. It's easier to move around if you imagine the touch sensitivity like this: (L=left, R=right, etc.)
LLLUUUUURRR LLLUUUUURRR LLLDDDDDRRR LLLDDDDDRRR I like the overland map and the NES style. The one-eyed monster on the title screen reminds me of an awesomely comic-styled owlbear from the great 8-bit Sega Master System RPG Phantasy Star, which gave me a happy nostalgic grin. |
