thanks... yeah... it looks like everything is 50% off...

And yeah... I'd recommend it, if you're into base defense type games, it's definitely one of the best. =o)

It got 4 stars in the TA review;

Hmm, thinking about Joining Hands and Swingworm (or Ironworm?). Are both worth the extremely tiny price of admission? Which of the 'worm' games is better?

Favorite developers: Grumpyface, Michael Brough, Rocketcat, Donut Games, Nitrome, Orange Pixel, Radiangames, Llamasoft (come back!)

from the devs;

There are several notable differences to Swingworm. First, you can die in Ironworm. Also there are a lot of enemies, and they will try to kill you in various ways including shooting at you and exploding. In addition the theme and atmosphere are very different. We felt that Ironworm would look really out of place as an update to a more casual game like Swingworm.

During the development of Swingworm we came up with a bunch of more hardcore game play ideas for the worm-world and we wanted to use them somewhere. In the end that lead to the birth of Ironworm
And yeah, I've really enjoyed them both.

I picked up Joining Hands and I am enjoying it. I had bought Swingworm earlier and I didn't care for it.

Azkend 2 didn't rate that well here, but I picked it up anyway. I seem to remember the game improved somewhat after the original release. The SD and HD versions are at the lowest price so far.

You are missing Heroes of Kalevala (& HD), IMHO the best match-3 game in the entire app store!

I picked up the HD version (already own and played the heck out of the iPhone version), and Dragon Portals HD, which I thought was a nicely different take on the genre though my husband didn't care for it.

I would highly recommend Joining Hands. If you like Cut the rope, cover orange, follow the rabbit, and twingo, you will love Joining hands.

It has wonderful retina new ipad graphics and is very cute, but makes you think as well.
