World of Goo as a matcher? I'm definitely intrigued. IAP?

Ok, I TOFTT, and I must say, it's ok. It's in no way like world of goo, other than the look. It is a match 2-3 type of game that is based on physics.
The premise is simple, match 5 and get a larger "goo ball", this larger goo ball needs to be matched with another 2 to make a legit match. Once it's done, the larger goo ball goes to the upper left (your tree branch). Fill up your branch to complete the level. During the level, you get distracted by obstacles. For instance, a giant fish that eats your goo balls, breaking up your chain and preventing your objective. Later in the levels, you are held to a certain number of "touches". You can refill via goo balls with a mana refill. Overall it's okay, for the $.99 price tag. I personally feel that match 3 fans may get more of a kick than me. Presentation is outstanding and polished, gameplay, not so much. It's fun, but not outstanding. There are IAP's for refilling your mana, but it seems unnecessary so far. |

It is currently free and the game play seems pretty novel for a match 3 type game. This is well worth a download.

Doh!
I let this one just slip by as I assumed, even from the screen shots it was some World of Goo/Bridge Builder thing! This game is actually pretty amazing. A great addition to the other great physics based match 3s like Toy Balls and Linkies. 4/5 |
