Looks like just tilt. Your left hand controls tricks and the right hits the pump and spin buttons.
I like it, maybe not as much as the other people here though. |

Just bought the game last night and been having a blast playing. Very well done! The tilting is a little tough in the iPad, but I can't wait to give it a blast on an iPod. I'm also an old schooler bmxer and I have every bmx game on iOS, and this ranks in the top tier. It's great for dirt jumpers, but with no grinding or manuals (unless I haven't reached that level yet), street and vert riders might feel a little left out. But that's just nit-picking as overall it's an awesome game and every bmx rider would enjoy taking this game for a spin.
The graphic style and smooth animation make it a pleasure to look at and it has a nice selection of music and sounds. Controls are simple and easy to use. To the dev, congrats and Very Nice job on getting ur first game out, you've done an awesome job. Hope u enjoy the ride. |

Having great fun playing this game and you can tell a lot of work went into this.
As already mentioned by others in this thread, tilting on the iPad is a bit cumbersome. I think this is partly due to the tilt sensitivity, so I suggest to the developer an option to change the sensitivity. I then have another suggestion to try and simply the control interface by removing the spin button and instead using a tilt mechanic to control spin. I assume currently the spin button when pressed accelerates the riders spin when the device is tilted. Instead I suggest the acceleration is triggered when the device is tilted beyond a certain angle. -Small tilts will control the boost and racer. -Larger tilts will cause an accelerated spin. A further change to the control scheme would then be to remove the pump button and instead use the entire right hand side as a "hot area" for the pump. Again great game. |

Right now I know this game is hard but I'm up to the Big city levels and I can't even finish a single track. Is it just me?

Nice job dev. Liking the game and see muc potential.
As others pointed out, please increase menu touch zones a bit for iPhone/iPod optimization. Also a track editor would be sweet! Finally, this game brings me nostalgically bac to the days of California Games (floppy disk days) as the BMX was my favorite. Awesome job! |

Any chance you'll be adding other non-tilt options for iPad players who don't like to tilt on said device please? Looks fun, but won't purchase right now.

Hmmm, sounds like first game from dev is a hit despite minor setbacks. Any news on what the next update will bring?
