Hello,
Puppy Sanctuary is now available on the App Store. It's free to try, so if you like casual games and/or puppies please give it a go and let me know what you think of the game here : ) Puppy Sanctuary is a casual game where you rescue puppies from aliens and keep them warm and safe in your puppy sanctuaries. It's a free app, which features the first five puppies, and there's a single 'Full Version' IAP ($0.99 at launch) which unlocks the rest of the puppies, levels, toys & decorations. I hope you will try the game out (especially as it's free!) and let me know what you think of the game here : ) Thanks & best wishes, George Last edited by Clockwork Pixels; 08-14-2012 at 01:49 AM.. |

Looks awesome from the video, not that I needed any convincing beyond seeing the dev's name in this instance. I do see one glaring flaw though, I must admit: it's only 99c.

Thanks Gabrien! Yep, $0.99 is a launch price ... I'll also reduce Kitten Sanctuary to $0.99 for a few days when Puppy Sanctuary appears on the US store (few hours from now) : )

My feedback is: please release a paid, full version of the game too, like Big Fish, Playrix and [-]Gameloft[/-] G5 Entertainment all do with their IAP unlock versions. That way folks who hate IAP can choose to have the full game and have it backed up locally too.

You know, I'm gonna let all of you in on a little secret. George (Clockwork Pixels) said "I hope you like the game and it's not too similar" in the same PM containing the promo code. The secret? My girlfriend's been rubbing it in my face that she's been playing the PC version of Puppy Sanctuary for the last few months, and since I'm a dog guy...all I've wanted is to play Kitten Sanctuary with puppies.
Of course I could've just gotten the PC version, but where's the fun in that (being an iOS fellow)? Now of course I haven't had enough time with the game (let alone not being able to purchase the full game unlock until tomorrow) to determine if it is similar or not, but I just wanted to mention something very...awesome. When K. Sanctuary launched, there weren't any options to get rid of all the flashy little visual effects, but someone (sorry, I don't remember) was saying that their significant other can't play the game because of those effects. What did George do? He put a toggle in the options menu. What does this have to do with anything? Instead of saying "ehhh, screw it" and just porting over the PC version of Puppy Sanctuary, you'll notice a few things...that same toggle's here, the icon isn't glossy like the first version of K. Sanctuary....and the app's titled "P. Sanctuary" much like the kitty version...which wasn't initially like that and...ermmm....I nitpicked about that. ![]() All in all? If you loved Kitten Sanctuary and love dogs...shut up and get this, OK? Low price, one single-purchase IAP, no consumable IAPs, cuteness beyond belief...and a developer that cares for and loves both his product and (sorry dude, it's obvious) his customers.
