Well when you bring up sbsettings by swiping the status bar and you go into "More" there's something called "Dock Applications." THey're all set to Off in mine, does anyone know what it does?

The dock is the little button in the SB settings that allows you to add 4 app buttons there from what you have on your device as a shortcut for launching directly from SBSettings.
So by turning on up to 4 apps in the option settings, you can go back to the SBSettings and hit the dock button to allow you to use them. It's useful if you don't want to have some apps on the springboard that may have ugly looking icons. I use it for quicklaunching. |

You can actually have more than 4 apps in there if you want. Currently mine has 12
